
En visite à Rome lors de leur visite Ad Limina Apostolorum, les évêque du Nigeria se sont d’abord rendus le 2 mars dernier à la basilique Sainte-Marie-Majeure, mais ont aussi échangé dans les différents Dicastères romains tout en célébrant au cours de leur séjour romain.
The visit officially commenced on 2 March, with a Mass at the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, presided over by Most Rev. Lucius Ugorji, the immediate past President of the CBCN. The bishops also visited & prayed at the tomb of Pope Francis, who is buried within the Basilica.

On Tuesday, 3 March, the bishops began the day with Holy Mass and Lauds, presided over by Most Rev. Gabriel Abegunrin. They also met with the Dicastery for the Laity, the Family and Life, @VaticanIHD, the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, and the Secretariat of State.

The bishops continue to carry the Church in Nigeria in prayer during this important pilgrimage of faith in communion with the Holy See. The faithful are invited to keep them in their prayers for the fruitfulness of the Ad Limina Visit.
