Le pape rappelle l’opposition de l’Église catholique à la peine de mort

Le pape Léon XIV a réaffirmé son opposition à la peine de mort. Dans une vidéo diffusée notamment sur le réseau « X », le pape a ainsi fait référence au passage du Catéchisme de l’Église catholique (CEC), le numéro 2267, qui rappelle l’opposition du magistère à la peine de mort.
